WHEN THIS PANDEMIC BEGAN AND THE SCHOOLS WERE CLOSED, WE IMMEDIATELY WENT INTO ACTION WITH OUR DECREE "NO CHILD (HOMELESS/SENIOR/VETERAN) GO HUNGRY" IT SIMPLY BEGAN BY PUTTING TOGETHER AND DELVERING LUNCHES TO THE HOTELS AND APARTMENTS WHERE PEOPLE DIDN'T HAVE TRANSPORTATION TO RESOURCES. ALTHOUGH WE ALWAYS DID SOME GROCERY GIVE OUTS WEEKLY, THROUGH THIS PANDEMIC OUR FOOD BANK IMPACT HAS GROWN TO WHERE WE NOW GIVE OUT 300-400 BOXES OF GROCERIES EVERY WEEK TO SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY, AND THAT NUMBER KEEPS GROWING. WE DON'T REQUIRE ANY QUALIFICATIONS AS MANY OF THE FOLKS EFFECTED BY THIS PANDEMIC ARE FOLKS THAT HAVE TO CHOOSE WHETHER TO PAY THEIR HOUSEHOLD BILLS, OR BUY FOOD.
